Dour Festival is an annual music festival in the municipality of Dour, Belgium. Since its creation in 1989, the festival has grown to an attendance of 200,000. The festival format consists of 4 days, 6 stages and 200 bands and DJ's. The festival's acts come from a wide range of genres, such as: electro, rock, Drum and Bass, pop, R&B, Reggae, house, punk, hardcore, Metal, hip-hop, indie, techno and more.
For the last 27 years, the festival found the perfect formula to become one of the most important events in Europe: a unique, and eclectic line up, filled with impressive headliners and - more importantly - a lot of exciting discoveries, a terrain in the heart of the Borinage Terrils and an unsurpassed organisation; all of this for almost 200,000 young music lovers.
Plaine de la machine a feu Dour (which is actually pronounced 'door') takes place in Belgium, the home of beer - we love it already! Set near to the French border in Wallonia, the town has previously been occupied by the Gauls, Romans, French, Dutch, Spanish and Austrians but come July it belongs to over 200,000 fun loving festival goers.
Coaches depart from Dover or London Victoria Coach Station direct to the heart of Dour Festival. With or without weekend camping festival ticket.
Coaches depart the UK in the morning of Wednesday 12th July and arrive at the festival site the same afternoon. We depart for home at 10am on Monday 17th July ensuring you don't miss a minute of the action and get a great camping spot!
All return coach and ferry travel is included in the price.
