Stereophonics will make history again this summer by playing the FIRST concert at the newly built, state of the art, Cardiff City stadium, on Saturday June 5th. "We want to make it a day to make Welsh people proud," declares Kelly Jones. "We will be the first band to play the stadium and we love breaking in venues, even dating back to 1993, being the first band playing the Ivy Bush in Cwmaman!" The show, which is set to be one of the new decade's biggest in the UK, will be another in a long line of spectacular outdoor events from the band. "It's going to be a Welsh summer celebration, giving something back to the people of the valleys, towns and cities, says Kelly. "For us, it's the icing on the cake of our sold out world tour".
