BOARDMASTERS UPDATE - Festival cancellation and travel refund
Late on Tuesday evening we were informed about the unfortunate
cancellation of Boardmasters.
With coaches set to hit the road as early as 5am the following
morning; all of our drivers and vehicles were booked in and paid for, and our
first point of action at that point had to be; to make sure that all of our
customers, operators and drivers were informed that coach services would no
longer be running.
The festival have now put out a Statement and we have been working
closely with them to decide on a route of action to take.
All Big Green Coach customers will be refunded the full price of
their coach seat for the return journey they booked for Boardmasters.
This decision has been made because our priority will always be
Big Green Coach are not covered by insurance on cancelled services
and this decision will mean that the cost of each coach and driver will be
covered by us as a company so that our customers do not take the hit.
This will mean a huge financial loss to the company but the
confidence that we are doing the right thing by our customers.
For those that purchased a Ticket and Travel package our policy
will be in line with that of the festival. All festival tickets will be
refunded at face value.
We understand your frustration at the festival cancellation and
can only stress that this decision was not taken lightly by the festival team,
who work tirelessly all year to put on this incredible event for you.
We hope that you will stay loyal to the Boardmasters brand and
continue to support Big Green Coach and sustainable travel to other festivals
Refunds will be automatically processed by our customer service
team. Please bear with us as we work through all customer communications
received over this recent busy period. All refunds will be made to the card the
payment was taken from within 10 working days.
